Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail
Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail (the Trail) was set up by the Central and Western District Council in 1996, connecting 15 historic spots in the Central and Western District related to Dr Sun Yat-sen and a spot to introduce Hong Kong in the time of Dr Sun Yat-sen. To complement the opening of
Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum in 2006, the Government carried out works to enhance the Trail.
In 2018, Tourism Commission, in collaboration with Central and Western District Council and Leisure and Cultural Services Department, undertook the revitalisation of the Trail. Under the theme of "art across time", nine local artists were engaged to redesign the plaques with their idiosyncratic visual lingo to showcase the rich historical and cultural characteristic of Hong Kong.
