Q1. How long does the show last? How many shows per night?
A1: The show lasts for about 10 minutes and it would be staged once every night on both sides of the Victoria Harbour.

Q2: What are the best viewing locations of the show? Any admission tickets required?
A2: The best viewing locations of this nightly spectacle are the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Avenue of Stars and the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai. Live music of the show will be broadcast at the above viewing locations. The show is for free public enjoyment and no admission ticket is required.

Q3: How to get to the best viewing locations of the show?
A3: You may take the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) to Tsim Sha Tsui Station or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station. By proceeding to Exit L6 and J, you can follow the directional signs to get to the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Avenue of Stars respectively. As for the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai, you may take MTR to Wanchai Station and follow the signs along the footbridge to the promenade via Exit A5.

Q4: What is the broadcasting arrangement of the show’s live music?
A4: The music of the show is broadcast every night at the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Avenue of Stars and the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai.

Q5: Apart from the above live broadcast, are there any alternative means to listen to the background music of “A Symphony of Lights”?
A5: You can tune into the music of "A Symphony of Lights" through the dedicated mobile application. The mobile application of "A Symphony of Lights" can be downloaded from the following websites:

Q6: How to book the ticket for harbour cruise in Victoria Harbour to watch the show? How much does it cost?
A6: In case you wish to take the harbour cruises in Victoria Harbour to watch the show, you may call Hong Kong Tourism Board’s (HKTB) visitor hotline (2508 1234) or browse HKTB’s website (http://www.discoverhongkong.com/eng/see-do/tours-walks/guided-tours/victoria-harbour/SOL-harbour-cruise.jsp) for details as well as service charges of the harbour cruises.

Q7: Under what weather conditions would the show be cancelled?
A7: Under inclement weather conditions, namely the issue of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.3 or above or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, the show will be cancelled.

Q8: How can we know if the show is cancelled due to inclement weather?
A8: In case the show needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons (for example, in support of environmental campaign), the Tourism Commission will issue public announcement to TV/radio stations, and notices will also be put up at the best viewing locations, namely the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Avenue of Stars and the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai, to inform locals as well as visitors about the cancellation of the show.
